PW lot (2) Illinois, Bunn Special "Extra," 21J, 18S, gold-filled OF cases, one with initials to rear, Montgomery white enamel DS dials, SW-LS, fully capped lever escapements, ornate two-tone gilt and nickel damascene, s#1836110 and s#1836111. A beautiful pair of consecutive serial numbered watches, the 21 jewel Bunn Special marked "Extra" is quite rare and features one of Illinois' most spectacular two-tone movement finishes.

S#1836110: Mvt: Running, nearly mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, superb two-tone color and luster, few micro-fine scratches, some mild bits of oxide to regulator spring; excellent dial with short scratch at the base of 12, some fine scratches within seconds-register; excellent hands; case shows very little wear, no dents or dings, pinpoint nick to band at 9, excellent engraving detail; tight bow, crown shows very little wear; good glass crystal. S#1836111: Mvt: Running, nearly mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, superb two-tone color and luster, few mild fine to micro-fine scratches; dial with very faint outer chapter hl at 7, minuscule pinpoint surface nick below 12; excellent hands; case shows light wear, slight shallow dent at upper right perimeter, thin slivers of wear to brass following portions of band seams, inner surface of rear entirely through to brass; tight bow, crown shows little wear; glass crystal with some small edge flakes to lower left perimeter.
